I'll try to find a US .exe then, and then I'll see what happens. I doubt my saves will work, but then again I don't know they might.

I've always had the impression that the region .exes were for the consoles, to prevent people from buying games cheaply abroad and taking them to their country before it comes out. And in the PC world it only serves the purpose of language settings.

Well I guess trying out a different .exe will test my theory
